Roberto Cavalli is a high end Florence fashion designer who developed his own label 1972 in the town of Saint-Tropez.  In particular he is known for his innovation and tendency to push the envelope with his designs experimenting with many different materials.

In 1998 he expanded his label to include not only apparel, but also the high end product lines of perfumes, underwear, watches, eyewear, and shoes.

Today his sunglasses line is called Just Cavalli eyewear, although many times the sunglass collections are simply referred to as Cavalli sunglasses.

With over 250 boutiques scattered across the world and on almost every continent Roberto Cavalli is a mainstay in the fashion industry known for his vibrant and idiosyncratic designs.

Although his sunglass collection is known for its absurd and twisted frames and unique earpieces, the most standard pair of Cavalli sunglasses is quite elegant with a sheer tinted rimless frame that extends in a sheath to cover the face and hinges with the wire outline of the logo.  From here the frame lightly slips over the ear providing a snug but highly unusual and surprisingly comfortable fit.

Due to the fact that the Cavalli sunglass collections contain a large volume of intricately moulded frames, most are made of steel and metal coated to match the tinted frames which come in all shades.  Silver and jewelled is a popular theme of both the male and female collections as Cavalli always brings his designs full circle back to elegant and refined.
