Paul Smith
Paul Smith is a legendary fashion designer for men in England who was knighted in 2000 by The Queen for his contributions to fashion in Britain. Included in his line of high end products are sunglass collections for both men and women.
Smith founded his label in 1987 in New York and since then has opened dozens of boutiques and stores across the globe including several notable shops in Leeds, Dubai, Antwerp, London, Nottingham, Bangalore, and Los Angeles.
All of the items in the Paul Smith collection line including the Paul Smith sunglasses collection are produced in Italy and England using materials that originate from France, Britain, and Italy.
One of the trademarks of the Paul Smith sunglasses line is that the products are both elegant, traditional, and quirky all at the same time, allowing men in particular to sport their unique fashion sense with a bit of their own personality tossed in.
Interestingly enough, the men’s sunglasses collection sports more colour than the women’s collection, and is much more vibrant and alive with frames that remind most people of Elton John’s glasses early on in his career.
Outside of the outlandish designs, Paul Smith also offers traditional metal and plastic framed glasses with thick and slim frames and mostly square lenses that come in a variety of tinted colours.
The women’s sunglasses are mostly rounded with thick plastic frames and purple tinted lenses. Since Paul Smith is a men’s brand predominantly the women’s collection of sunglasses is much smaller although there is a large unisex line of glasses also available.
