Gucci

Gucci is a leather luxury fashion store that was founded in Florence in 1921 by Gucci Gucci.  It is a very successful business with revenue over two billion euro in the year 2008 landing it in the 41st position for top labels in Business Week’s annual Top Global 100 Brands chart.

Additionally, Gucci is the top selling Italian brand globally with around 278 shops open internationally around the world.  Plus, many of its product lines such as the renowned Gucci sunglasses collection are distributed through a plethora of different high end department stores and franchises.

In the 1970s Gucci launched its accessory line, which included the introduction of Gucci sunglasses, which continue to be popular luxury items today, with the trademark GG embossed on the corners of most frames within the collection.

Every product that Gucci sells including its sunglasses are made in Italy and then distributed throughout the world.

The entire line of Gucci sunglasses is quite immense when compared to other lines by other high end luxury brands.  The lines include everything from simple wire framed sunglasses to highly fashionable lines of sunglasses to snow goggles.

Its signature collection consists of thick ear pieces with the G embossed on the side and square lenses set inside of plastic and steel.  White is the dominant colour in many frames used both as a contrast colour along the frames and as the main colour.  Lenses come in all shades although black and blue are the dominant tints.
